About IGotGoodIdeas.com
Well…here is goes…..will it be a GOOD idea? Only time will tell…. but at least the effort can be said to be sincere and timely as we are in dire need of GOOD (Getting Out of Debt) ideas and Staying out for that matter. Statistically only 26% or so of those who get debt consolidation loans to help round up there debt and pay it off as one lump some actually keep it off (ouch I was one of the 74%, twice (double ouch!)). This is only one way and not necessarily advisable in all cases. Every GOOD plan is a case by case issue with each individual, family or entity (business) needing to take a long hard look at all the options and root causes and then assimilating a plan, aka strategy and then DOING it! oh..and STICKING with it! Keep in mind it’s OK to make changes along the way as long as the main objective, ie GOOD is still the main goal.
Well this all started as a desire to Get Out Of Debt which by the way is a GOOD idea, and another desire: to help others as well. I know I am more inclined to do something if I feel that it will help more people than just me, so much for a survival instincts. OK, so it’s not quite that bad, but we were really starting to feel the pain…(read: really starting to feel the pain).
So I decided to embark on a journey to share my experiences and finding as I attempt ( with the help of my lovely bride) and whoever else has G.O.O.D. ideas,…to come up with at least one GOOD idea each day.
So let’s put some principles together:
Principles for a G.O.O.D Idea
A G.O.O.D. idea must meet one or more of these principles to qualify.
1. It must first be morally, ethically and financially sound.
2. It must either increase the cash flow and/or decrease the expenditures.
3. It must contribute to reducing the debt amount and /or contribute to savings/investment or giving.
4. It must increase the quality or services, consumption or reduce the amount of time spent without increasing costs, thereby freeing time for better alternatives, quality of life or dedication to additional revenue generation.
Let’s get started…(phew…today is done…. )
